Precautions for Sampling of Chromatographic Analyzer

Precautions for Sampling of Chromatographic Analyzer

The accuracy of test results and the correctness of judgment conclusions depend on the representativeness of the samples taken. Unrepresentative sampling not only causes waste of manpower, material resources and time, but also leads to wrong conclusions and greater losses. For oil samples with special requirements for sampling, such as gas spectrometry analysis in oil, micro water in oil, furfural in oil, metal analysis in oil and particle pollution (or cleanliness) of oil, etc. There are different requirements from the method to the sampling container as well as the method and time of storage.

Now  the sampling precautions for chromatographic analyzer are listed:

HV Hipot GDC-9560B Power System  Oil Chromatography Analyzer
(1) To take oil samples for chromatographic analysis of gas in oil, a clean and dry 100mL medical syringe with good airtightness must be used to take samples in a sealed manner. There must be no air bubbles in the oil after sampling.

(2) The oil accumulated in the dead corner of the channel must be drained before sampling, usually 2~3L should be drained before sampling. When the pipe is thick and long, it should be discharged at least twice its volume.

(3) The connecting pipe for sampling must be dedicated, and the rubber pipe welded by acetylene is not allowed to be used as the connecting pipe for sampling.

(4) After sampling, the core of the syringe should be kept clean to prevent jamming.

(5) From sampling to analysis, the samples should be protected from light and should be sent in time to ensure that they can be completed within 4 days.
