The complete test procedure of the power frequency withstand voltage test device
1. Wiring preparation for power frequency withstand voltage test equipment
Attach one end of the grounding wire to the grounding grid, and the other end to the grounding terminal of this instrument.
Note: The grounding point of the grounding grid should have excellent conductivity; otherwise, it will affect the accuracy of the measurement and even pose a threat to personal safety.
Connect the input end (i.e., the low-voltage side) of the test transformer to the “A” terminal and “X” terminal of the instrument using the red and black wires of the dedicated connection line.
Connect the instrument terminals of the test transformer to the “instrument” terminals of the instrument using dedicated test cables.
Connect the mains power supply to the “power input” terminal of the instrument using a dedicated power cable.
2. Test procedures for power frequency withstand voltage test equipment
After turning off the power switch, the instrument shows the startup status, and the display panel shows the voltage on the high-voltage side and the current on the low-voltage side respectively.
If the pressure regulator is at the zero position, it will trigger an audible and visual alarm, indicating that the pressure test is about to begin. Please be cautious. If the pressure regulator is not at the zero position, first adjust it to the zero position before conducting the test.
During the test, observe the changes in the current and voltage readings of the instrument. Once the set test voltage is reached, the equipment will automatically start timing. After the timing is completed, return the voltage regulator to zero, turn off the power switch, and remove the dedicated power cord from the mains power supply.
3. Cleaning up the site after the power frequency withstand voltage test device test is completed
Turn off the power switch and unplug the power cord.
Remove and store the dedicated test cable properly to facilitate future use.
Remove the grounding wire and tidy it up.
