The transformer comprehensive characteristic test bench is a highly integrated testing system that integrates multiple single testing instruments required for transformer factory tests, commissioning tests, and preventive tests, forming a unified testing platform. It can complete the detection of multiple key parameters of the transformer and is the core equipment in transformer testing. Core function
High integration and automation: All kinds of testing functions such as voltage ratio, DC resistance, no-load, and load are integrated into a single host. Through computer software, one-click testing is achieved, and at the same time, data is automatically recorded and reports are automatically generated, significantly improving testing efficiency and accuracy, and reducing human errors and wiring operation times.
High precision measurement: Equipped with high-precision sensors, using advanced digital signal processing technology, precise measurement of parameters such as voltage, current, power, and resistance is realized. The measurement accuracy meets the requirements of national standards such as GB 1094.1 and international standards such as IEC 60076.
Safety protection and warning: Built-in comprehensive protection circuits for overvoltage, overcurrent, and overheating, real-time monitoring of equipment operation status during testing. Once an abnormality occurs, it will automatically trigger an alarm and cut off the output, providing comprehensive protection for the safety of operators and equipment operation.
Data management: Test data can be automatically stored and traced throughout the process. At the same time, it can generate test reports in standard formats such as Word, Excel, and PDF, facilitating subsequent data management and archiving work.
Operation simplicity: Equipped with a large-sized touch screen and a graphical operation interface. The operation logic is clear. Non-professionals can quickly master the operation method and carry out testing work after simple training.
Main test items and related requirements
1. DC resistance test of windings
Test purpose: To check the welding quality of internal conductor joints, the welding quality of leads and windings, and the contact condition of each contact point of the tap changer, and to detect whether there is a short circuit between windings.
Execution standard: DL/T 596-2021 “Preventive Test Procedures for Power Equipment”
2. Voltage ratio group test
Test purpose: To verify whether the voltage ratios of each tap position of the transformer are consistent with the nameplate markings, to verify the correctness of the winding turns ratio, to determine whether there is a short circuit between windings, and to determine the connection group of the transformer.
Execution standard: GB 1094.1-2013 “Power Transformers – Part 1: General”
3. No-load characteristic test (no-load loss and no-load current measurement)
Test purpose: Under rated voltage and rated frequency, measure the no-load loss and no-load current of the transformer, check the quality of the iron core, and detect magnetic circuit faults (such as inter-layer short circuits) and winding short circuits.
Execution standard: GB 1094.1-2013
4. Load characteristic test (short-circuit impedance and load loss measurement)
Test purpose: Under rated current, measure the load loss and short-circuit impedance of the transformer, check the design and manufacturing quality of the winding, and provide data support for transformer efficiency calculation.
Execution standard: GB 1094.1-2013
5. Insulation resistance and absorption ratio / polarization index test
Test purpose: To check whether the overall insulation of the transformer is damp or dirty, and to detect whether the insulation system has through defects.
Execution standard: DL/T 596-2021
6. Power frequency AC withstand voltage test
Test purpose: To test the insulation strength of the main insulation of the transformer and check whether there are cracks or displacements of the main insulation.
Notes: The test voltage level is high, and the requirements for test equipment are strict. Some comprehensive test benches will integrate the control unit for this test, and the high-voltage generation part is generally an independent device.
7. Inductive withstand voltage test (with partial discharge measurement)
Test purpose: To test the longitudinal insulation strength of transformer layers, inter-winding and inter-phase, and combine the partial discharge measurement results to conduct a core assessment of the insulation system quality.
Notes: This is an important function of high-end comprehensive test benches. The equipment needs to integrate a medium-frequency power supply and partial discharge measurement system.
8. Transformer oil test (optional)
Test purpose: To analyze the insulation performance of transformer oil and detect insulation problems related to oil quality. Notes: Some high-end test benches can directly integrate or connect with dedicated equipment such as oil dielectric strength testers and trace moisture testers to complete this test.
