High-voltage switch mechanical characteristic tester menu test settings

When conducting high-voltage testing experiments, the power testing equipment usually has an operation panel and a display screen. Before the test, the settings for various operational states of the instrument.

① Speed Definition: The instrument has fixed 16 speed definitions (Note: These 16 definitions can be redefined and solidified on the PC according to needs). Select the corresponding definition based on the switch model. If no corresponding definition is found, generally, “combined before and separated after 10ms” is used to measure the “time-travel characteristic curve”, and then corresponding analysis is conducted on the curve to obtain the corresponding speed value. Alternatively, the instrument’s built-in speed definition can be used to add the corresponding data definition in the program.
② Sensor Installation: Depending on the installation position of the speed sensor, the phase number should be selected. If it is a three-phase linkage mechanism, generally, the “A” phase is chosen.
③ Test duration: Refers to the time length during which the internal power supply outputs the operating voltage.
250ms: For the single-pole and single-throw test of a general switch, choose a duration of 250ms.
500ms: When performing a general “close-open” or “open-close” operation, select a duration of 500ms.
1000ms: The closing time of the old-fashioned generator outlet switches such as SN4-10G and SN4-20G is generally longer than…
For the single-throw and single-split tests of this type of switch, when using a 500ms duration, select a 1000ms duration instead.
2000ms: When the switch performs the “open-closed-open” operation, select 2000ms as the duration.
4000ms: ① When the switch performs the “close – open – close – open” operation, select a duration of 4000ms.
② When conducting the internal operation voltage calibration of the instrument, select a duration of 4000 milliseconds.
