Test of closing and opening times for the high-voltage switch mechanical characteristic tester
Method 1: Internal DC power supply control
The secondary circuit control power supply must be disconnected to prevent conflicts between the two power sources. Then, reconnect the above +, + closing, and – direct current output lines.
Connect other test lines, grounding wires, etc.
In the power selection section, adjust the required operating voltage value.
When the operation control is set to program mode, in the data table state (or in the time waveform state as well), press the “close/open” key to set the F(H) operation mode. Then press the operation key to display “Please wait”, and the system will automatically perform power-on sampling. The time parameters will be displayed.
2. When the operation control is set to manual mode, in the data table state (or in the time waveform state as well), press the “close/open” key to set the F(H) operation mode. After the display prompts “Please wait a moment”, press the “manual open/close” button to supply power for sampling and display the time parameters.
Method 2: The external DC power supply is controlled by the main unit of the instrument.
Apart from connecting the +, – and – direct current output lines mentioned above, there is no need to disconnect the secondary circuit control power supply. Additionally, the external + and – direct current input lines must be connected. At this time, the internal power supply must be turned off.
After selecting the power supply, at this point, make sure to turn off the internal power supply. The voltmeter will display the input voltage value.
When the operation control is set to program mode, in the data table state (or in the time waveform state as well), press the “Toggle” key to set the F(H) operation mode. Press the operation key to display “Please wait a moment”, then the power will be automatically sent for sampling and the time will be displayed.
2. When the operation control is set to manual mode, in the data table state (or in the time waveform state as well), press the “close/open” key to set the F(H) operation mode. After the display prompts “Please wait a moment”, press the “manual open/close” button to supply power for sampling and display the time.
Method 3: DC Decimation (External Synchronization Mode)
Except for the power selection switch, no external power supply (+/- DC input cables) is required. However, the above +, -, and – lines must be connected to the + split, the 3rd point of the closing control circuit, and the 16th point of the common circuit, respectively.
When the operation control is set to program mode, in the data table state (or in the time waveform state as well), press the 1. Close/Open key to set the F(H) operation mode. After the operation key is pressed, a prompt message will appear indicating “Please wait a moment”. Then, operate the switch to close (open) separately. After the switch operates, the instrument will sample synchronously.
When the operation control is set to manual mode, in the data table state (or in the time waveform state as well), press the 2. Close/Open key to set the F(H) operation mode. After the operation key is pressed, the display will show “Please wait a moment”. Then, operate the switch to close (open) separately. After the switch operates, the instrument will sample synchronously.
Note:
When using the internal and external DC power supply for manual control operation, before sending electricity by pressing the “open/close” button, press the “set” key to set the F(H) operation mode, and then press the operation key to display “please wait”. The instrument should remain in the “please wait” display screen. Otherwise, it indicates that there is already a voltage signal coming from the terminals of the switch operating mechanism (such as through a signal light, or through a single line or double line of the AC power supply).
During DC decimation (external synchronization mode): Before the switch operates to open (close) the switch, the instrument should remain in the “please wait” screen. Otherwise, there is already a voltage signal coming from the terminal of the switch operating mechanism (such as through a signal light, or through a single line in a single wire connection of the AC power supply).
