Operation Method of Transformer Core Grounding Current Tester Interface

Press the POWER button to turn on the device. The LCD will display the function menu page. If the LCD keeps flickering black after startup, it might be due to insufficient battery voltage. Please replace the battery and then press the POWER button to shut down the device. After 30 minutes of startup, this instrument will automatically enter the pre-shutdown state. It will shut down automatically after 30 seconds. Pressing any key will exit the pre-shutdown state and resume the operation of the Transformer Core Ground Current Tester.
After powering on, the function selection interface will appear, which includes: data measurement, data query, data deletion, number setting, clock setting and alarm setting. By pressing the up and down arrow keys, you can switch between the options. Pressing the ENTER key will confirm the current selection and enter the corresponding interface. Pressing the ESC key will exit the current interface and return to the previous one.
Enter the data measurement interface, which displays information such as current, frequency, current waveform, serial number, time, etc. Press the HOLD key to lock and automatically number the data for storage. Then press the HOLD key again to cancel the lock. When the data is locked, the “HD” symbol indicates it, and the group number “S: 001″ is displayed. The transformer core grounding current tester can store 200 sets of data. Use the up and down arrow keys to adjust the LCD backlight brightness.

Enter the data viewing interface. When viewing the data, the “RD” symbol indicates. Press the left or right arrow keys to select the increment or decrement step value of the data group (the “+” symbol indicates), with step ranges of 1, 10, and 100. Press the up or down arrow keys to select the data group and view the saved data.
Enter the data deletion interface, use the left and right arrow keys to select, and press the ENTER key to confirm. If you choose “Yes”, all the stored data will be deleted; if you choose “No”, you will exit the current interface. Note: Once the data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Please operate with caution.
Enter the interface for setting numbers, clock settings, and alarm settings. Use the left and right arrow keys to move the cursor and select the data position to be modified. Use the up and down arrow keys to modify the data value at the corresponding position, and then change the various parameters. Press the ESC key to exit the current interface and return to the upper-level interface.
Connect the transformer core grounding current tester host and the computer with a randomly configured USB communication cable. Turn on the instrument, run the software, select “History Review”, then read, save, generate reports, and print the historical data. The more data is stored, the longer it will take to read. Historical data can be saved in either Txt text format or Excel format.
Safety Precautions for Transformer Core Ground Current Tester Use
The specificity of the current clamp
The current clamp for each instrument is specifically designed for that instrument and cannot be used on another instrument. The current clamp must be protected from bumps and impacts. The clamp jaws must be kept clean and the test must be conducted with the jaws fully closed for reliable results.
Maintenance of the current clamp
After using the current clamp, it is necessary to remove all the dust from the surface of the clamp jaws in time. Do not use rough objects or corrosive agents to clean the surface of the clamp jaws. It is better to gently wipe it with a soft cloth and lubricant (such as WD-40 lubricant). Before testing, it is also necessary to clean it properly before use.
