Panel operation of the variable-frequency series resonance test variable-frequency power supply

Panel operation of the variable-frequency series resonance test variable-frequency power supply

Detailed operation instructions for the variable frequency power supply in the variable frequency series resonance test device. Basic operation explanations for the variable frequency power supply in the variable frequency series resonance test device:
Connect the single-phase 220V or three-phase 380V directly to the “input” of the frequency converter power supply. When the power supply is 220V, connect phases A and C; when the power supply is 380V, connect phases A, B, and C.
Explanation of the operation panel of the variable-frequency series resonance test device:

Power switch: Controls the supply or disconnection of power to the computer components.
Reset: Fault reset after load out-of-tolerance, overheating of the frequency converter source, and other protection actions.
Stop: The emergency stop button in case of an emergency.
Transformer signal: Used to connect to the low-voltage arm of the transformer. Maximum voltage 100V, input impedance 100M.
Grounding: Used for system safety grounding.
Liquid crystal display: Used for displaying various parameters, waveforms, menus, etc. of the system.
USB: Used for uploading test data.
Input: When the power supply is 220V, connect phases A and C; when the power supply is 380V, connect phases A, B, and C.
Output: The variable-frequency power supply is connected to the input of the excitation transformer.

In the variable-frequency series resonance test device, the variable-frequency power supply is turned on. After the operation box is powered on, the “power switch” is closed, and the LCD screen lights up and displays.
Note: If the fans at both ends of the variable frequency power supply in the variable frequency series resonance test device are running, it indicates that the power devices inside the instrument are operating normally. Otherwise, it indicates that the instrument is overheating or the reset was not performed during the previous test. At this time, the power supply should be cut off, and the instrument should be placed in a ventilated area for about 1 hour to allow the internal temperature to drop appropriately before restarting the power supply.
When the fan frequently fails to start, it is recommended to contact Wuhan Guodian Xigao immediately. In case of irrecoverable equipment failure, please do not attempt to disassemble the instrument by yourself.
Touchscreen display: The control screen of the frequency modulation power supply is a full touchscreen. You only need to gently click on the position where you want to operate on the screen to perform the operation.
After powering on, the display interface of the LCD is as shown in the schematic diagram of the operation manual for the variable frequency power supply in the variable frequency series resonance test device.
  Automatic Test: Automatic Test Mode;
Manual testing: Full manual testing mode and semi-automatic testing mode;
Parameter settings: The setting of various test parameters;
File management: View and output test records;
Parameter calculation: Conversion between inductance, capacitance and frequency. Given two of the quantities, the third can be calculated.
Setting of test parameters for the variable-frequency series resonance test device: Before each test, all the parameters for the current test must be correctly set. After clicking “Parameter Configuration”, the display interface of the LCD is as shown.
Starting frequency: The starting frequency during automatic tuning. The lower limit frequency is 20 Hz and the upper limit frequency is 200 Hz.
Termination frequency: The termination frequency during automatic tuning. The lower limit frequency is 200Hz, and the upper limit frequency is 300Hz. The “starting frequency” cannot be higher than the “termination frequency”. For the first test, it is recommended to scan within the range of 30Hz to 300Hz. When the approximate frequency range is known, you can select to scan within an appropriate frequency band to reduce the test time.
Starting voltage: This is the initial value of the output voltage when tuning is being performed.
1. For test samples with a lower Q value, such as generators, motors, and overhead power lines, the initial value is set at 30 to 40 volts.
2. For test samples with higher Q values, such as power cables, transformers, and GIS, the initial value of this parameter is set at 20V.
Stage test voltage, test duration: Set the maximum value of the test voltage and the test duration for withstanding voltage.
1. “Stage test voltage”: If there is no segmented withstand voltage test, only the voltage and duration of the first stage of the test should be set, and the voltages and durations for all other stages should be set to 0.
2. If you need to set the test voltage and test time separately, simply click on the corresponding columns for test voltage and test time respectively to complete the setting.
Excitation Ratio: During the test, the ratio of the excitation tap voltage to the primary voltage is selected. For example: for a 4kVA/1.5kV/3kV/0.4kV excitation transformer, when conducting the test and choosing the excitation tap to be 3kV, the excitation ratio is 3/4 = 7.5. Frequency-Variable Series Resonance Withstand Voltage Test Device Operating Manual
Transformer ratio: The voltage division ratio of the capacitor divider. When the voltage division ratio of the divider is 1000:1, input 1000; when the voltage division ratio is 2000:1, input 2000. Input the corresponding value based on the voltage division ratio of the divider. Note: If it is not a compatible capacitor divider, the secondary voltage of the capacitor divider cannot exceed 100V. If it exceeds 100V, the voltage cannot be displayed.
Automatic tuning frequency step: The frequency step during automatic frequency sweep during the test. In the automatic test of the variable frequency series resonance test device, the frequency step must be set; otherwise, no frequency sweep will be performed during the automatic test. The frequency step can be set to be below 2Hz. If it is set too high, the resonant point found may not be the optimal resonant point, and the test voltage may not be able to rise.
Circuit inductance, circuit capacitance: When the inductance and capacitance values in the circuit are known, this option can be set. If the values are unknown, it is not necessary to set this option. When either of these values is set, the data recorded in the document management can display the value of the other item. If not set, neither of these two items will be displayed.
Surge protection: The protection voltage during breakdown. The smaller this value is, the more sensitive the breakdown protection will be, and sometimes it may malfunction. Generally, when the maximum voltage of the equipment is less than 150kV, it is set to 3kV; when the maximum voltage of the equipment is less than 150 – 300kV, it is set to 5kV; when the maximum voltage of the equipment is less than 300 – 500kV, it is set to 8kV; when the maximum voltage of the equipment is less than 500 – 800kV, it is set to 12kV. This value is a theoretical one and can be set according to the actual needs on site.
Overvoltage protection voltage: This is the upper limit value set for the test voltage. If the voltage exceeds this limit, the test will automatically terminate to protect the test equipment and the test subject of the frequency conversion series resonance test device. Generally, it is set 10% higher than the test voltage.
Overcurrent protection coefficient: Set the maximum output current of the variable frequency power supply. Generally, it is set at 100%.
