Precautions for Using the Closed Cup Flash Point Tester
When using this machine, in order to reduce the risks of fire, electric shock or personal injury, you should always follow the basic safety precautions. Read and understand all the instructions.
Operate according to the warnings and instructions indicated on the aircraft body.
Before cleaning this machine, please unplug the power plug of the closed-mouth flash point tester. Do not use liquid or spray cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
Place this machine firmly on a stable surface. If the machine falls, it could cause severe damage and/or result in personal injury.
Do not block the gaps and openings on the machine. They are used for ventilation to prevent the machine from overheating. Do not place the machine near the radiator or in a place where it cannot get proper ventilation.
The closed cup flash point tester can only be powered by the power supply indicated on the machine. If you are unsure about your power supply type, please contact our company or the local power authority for assistance.
For safety, this machine is equipped with a grounding plug. If you don’t have such a socket, please install one. Do not modify the plug improperly as this safety feature may not function.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble this machine. If maintenance is needed, please seek technical support. Opening or removing the cover may cause you to come into contact with dangerous voltages or other hazards. Incorrect reassembly may result in electric shock during future use.
When any of the following situations occurs, please unplug the plug of this device from the power socket.
A. When the power cord is damaged or worn out.
B. If any liquid spills into this machine.
C. If this machine has been exposed to rain or water.
D. If the closed-mouth flash point tester fails to function properly when operated in accordance with the user manual, only the control components included in the manual can be adjusted. Incorrect adjustment will instead exacerbate the malfunction of the instrument.
E. If the device falls or is damaged.
E. If there are significant changes in the performance of this machine.
Note: Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
Maintenance and Care of the Closed Cup Flash Point Tester
The instrument should be stored in a dry place and dust-proof measures should be taken.
Before starting the closed mouth flash point tester, make sure that all components of the instrument are properly connected. Do not switch the power on and off continuously as it may damage the components. There should be at least a 20-second interval between each power switch.
Before the experiment, safety precautions should be taken. There should be no flammable, explosive or corrosive substances around the instrument. After the experiment, cleaning work should be done. The oil sample in the test cup should be cleaned up, and the temperature sensor, flash point detection sensor and other areas that may be contaminated with oil should be wiped clean.
Before shutting down the closed-mouth flash point tester, make sure that all mechanical components are in the correct position and then turn off the power.
The display screen of this instrument is a touch screen. Please do not scratch it with sharp or hard objects. When there is dust or oil on the touch screen, you can wipe it clean with a soft damp cloth.
