Safety Operating Instructions for Multi-frequency Voltage Generator

1. Before use, please check whether all control switches, knobs, and display are complete.

2. First, switch the power switch to the OFF position.

3. To ensure the safety of the equipment, please reconfirm the input voltage before connecting the power supply.

4. Turn on the power switch. After about 3 to 5 seconds, the AC contactor inside the power supply will engage, press the start button once, the output indicator light will light up, and at this time, the power supply will output voltage. Press the start button again, the output indicator light will go out, and the power supply will stop outputting.

5. Adjust the output frequency: You can arbitrarily switch the frequency selection switch to any position. There is no need to turn on the power supply. The fixed position indicates the output frequency. To fine-tune the frequency, switch the fixed position to the far right and adjust the fine-tuning knob.

Example: To obtain a frequency of 52Hz, first switch the selection switch to VAR, and then use the fine-tuning switch to adjust until the display shows 52HZ.

6. Standard voltage adjustment: Switch the three-position voltage selector switch to the middle position, then rotate the right ten-turn fine-tuning knob to obtain the voltage you expect.

7. High standard voltage adjustment: Switch the three-position voltage selector switch to the upper position, and adjust the left upper micro-tuning knob with a small一字-type screwdriver to obtain the upper limit voltage.

8. Low standard voltage adjustment: Switch the three-position voltage selector switch to the lower position, and adjust the left lower micro-tuning knob with a small一字-type screwdriver to obtain the lower limit voltage.

Example: To test a component with a standard voltage of 220V ± 15%, first calculate the higher voltage 220V x 1.15 = 253V, and then calculate the lower voltage 220V x 0.85 = 187V.

A. Switch the three-position voltage selector switch to the middle position, then rotate the right ten-turn fine-tuning knob to adjust the voltage display to 220V.

B. Switch the three-position voltage selector switch to the upper position, and adjust the left upper micro-tuning knob with a small一字-type screwdriver to adjust the voltage display to 253V.

C. Switch the three-position voltage selector switch to the lower position, and adjust the left lower micro-tuning knob with a small一字-type screwdriver to adjust the voltage display to 187V.

D. After adjustment, you can test the component. Just toggle the three-position switch to easily test the differences in various functions of the component at 187V – 253V and 220V.

9. Connect the load to the terminal panel, press the start button, the output indicator light will light up, and you can smoothly obtain the values displayed on the various function displays.

Notes (1): This machine is equipped with overcurrent, overload, overheating, and short-circuit protection devices. When there is overcurrent, overload, overheating, or short circuit, the protection circuit will immediately cut off the output power, and the buzzer will have an alarm sound. At this time, please first turn off the load, then press the reset switch (RESET), and the alarm sound will stop. Then the output voltage will start to supply, check the load condition, confirm there is no abnormality, and then re-open the load switch.

Notes (2): Pay attention! If you need to switch between 220V/110V voltages (inside the door panel), please turn off the load first before switching to ensure the safety of the equipment.

Notes (3): Pay attention! If you need a 400Hz frequency or to cancel the 400Hz frequency, please turn off the load first before switching.
