The basic structural characteristics of the transformer comprehensive characteristic tester

The main unit of the transformer comprehensive characteristic tester consists of an automatic voltage booster, an internal current booster, a microcomputer control system, a 640×480 dot matrix full-color fully-featured LCD with full Chinese interface, a micro printer, a touch control panel, RS 232 and USB interfaces, etc.
The main unit of the transformer comprehensive characteristic tester can be directly used for conducting tests such as CT’s voltage-current characteristics, transformation ratio, polarity, and PT’s voltage-current characteristics, transformation ratio, and polarity. It has a high output voltage and large capacity. For voltage-current characteristic tests: the single-unit output voltage of the 220V model can reach up to 1000V. For transformation ratio tests: the current output can reach up to 600A. The power supply output of the equipment is all real voltage and current values, with a standard sine wave waveform and a frequency of 50-60Hz; it can effectively simulate the real state of the transformer and complies with relevant maintenance regulations. The voltage regulation resolution can reach 0.15V.

If the output voltage and current range of the main unit of the transformer comprehensive tester cannot meet the requirements, for example, when testing the CT’s伏安 characteristics at the rated current of 1A, and the required test voltage is as high as 1500-2000V, the single unit of the transformer comprehensive characteristic tester cannot reach such a high voltage. At this time, an optional external booster can be used for the test. Connect the output voltage of the main unit of the transformer comprehensive characteristic tester to the external booster, and perform a secondary voltage boost to 2000V. The external booster has a measurement circuit and can be connected to the signal connector of the main unit through a signal cable.
If the output current range or power of the built-in current booster of the main unit of the transformer comprehensive characteristic tester does not meet the requirements, an external current booster can be selected for current boosting. Connect the single-unit output voltage of the main unit of the transformer comprehensive characteristic tester to the external current booster, and its output current can reach 0 – 1000A. It can be used in cases where there is a large transformation ratio CT or a longer cable for measuring the transformation ratio. The external current booster is equipped with a measurement section and can be connected to the signal connector of the main unit through a signal cable.
The transformer comprehensive characteristic tester is equipped with a large-capacity memory, which can store 2000 sets of test data and the data will not be lost even if the power is off. It has an RS232 communication interface, through which the data can be uploaded to a computer for saving, display editing, and printing. It also has a USB interface, allowing the data to be uploaded to the computer for saving, display editing, and printing. It is a single-unit integrated device, lightweight, weighing only 20Kg, which is convenient to carry and suitable for mobile tests.
