Transformer Comprehensive Test Bench Low-Voltage Characteristics Test
No-load test
Connect the main control console and the auxiliary control console of the test bench using aviation connector cables.
Connect the “three-phase four-wire” of the test bench to the main power supply.
Connect the “input” terminal of the test bench’s “pressure regulator” to the input end of the pressure regulator, and connect the “output” terminal of the test bench’s “pressure regulator” to the output end of the pressure regulator. Connect the motor control and travel switch control of the pressure regulator to the aviation connector of the main control console using aviation cables.
Connect the terminal of the test bench “connected to the test transformer” to the low-voltage side of the transformer being tested.
Plug in the power supply of the instrument and connect the shorting wires at the back of the instrument according to the operating instructions for the no-load condition.
Close the air switch. At this point, the main power indicator light will come on. Then, turn on the control power lock switch.
Turn on the power switch of the empty load tester, and the instrument’s display screen will show a user-friendly interface.
Set the parameters of the characteristic tester (for operation details, please refer to the manual for using the no-load mode).
Press the “Three-phase Closing” button, and the three-phase closing indicator light will illuminate.
Press the “Low Voltage Characteristics Close” button, and the low voltage characteristics close indicator light will illuminate.
Press the button corresponding to the desired current setting, and the corresponding current indicator light will illuminate.
Pressing the boost button can manually increase the voltage. At the same time, the boost indicator light will illuminate.
Observe the voltage indication on the characteristic tester. Stop the voltage increase when the required voltage is reached. If any abnormal situation occurs during the voltage increase process, press the “Emergency Stop” button to immediately halt the test. The voltage regulator will automatically return to the zero position.
The operation characteristic tester prints out the test data.
Press the “Three-phase Trip” button. The three-phase trip indicator light will illuminate. The voltage regulator will automatically reduce the voltage. When the voltage drops to zero, the voltage reduction indicator light will go out. Then, separate the selected test items and the experiment is completed.
Transformer Comprehensive Test Bench Load Test
The connection of the test body is the same as the no-load test. However, instead of connecting the “test transformer” to the low-voltage side, it is connected to the high-voltage side of the test transformer, while the low-voltage side is short-circuited.
The operation steps are the same as those for the no-load test.
Set the parameters for measuring the load when using the characteristic tester (for operation details, refer to the manual for using the no-load mode)
