Recently, a major local power engineering company in Chongqing purchased our company’s complete range of cable oscillation wave systems, partial discharge testers, handheld partial discharge inspection instruments, and non-partial discharge test equipment. These products cover all aspects of cable commissioning, electrical equipment handover, and preventive tests in hydropower stations.
The power transmission lines of the Chongqing hydropower project have a wide span, and the underground cable operation environment is complex. The customer has extremely high standards for the equipment’s anti-interference ability, defect location accuracy, and multi-voltage compatibility. After multiple rounds of scheme comparisons and on-site prototype tests, the customer fully recognized our self-developed high-voltage detection core technology. Our HV-OWS cable oscillation wave system supports tests for all specifications of 10kV – 110kV cables, and can precisely locate cable insulation defects to the millimeter level; the entire series of partial discharge equipment is compatible with various electrical equipment such as generators, switch cabinets, and GIS; it is also equipped with a local discharge test device, fully meeting the factory voltage test standards for equipment.
After the order was finalized, the company’s specialized technical team provided full follow-up throughout the process, completing the integrated services of equipment factory calibration, on-site installation and commissioning, and on-site practical operation training. Considering the special operation scenarios of hydropower in mountainous areas, the technicians conducted on-site teaching on equipment wiring, pattern recognition, and troubleshooting practical skills, ensuring that the equipment could be quickly put into on-site testing.
