Recently, technicians from Wuhan HV HIPOT Electric Co., Ltd. went to the photovoltaic power station in Heyuan, Guangdong Province, successfully completing the on-site debugging, functional verification and special technical training of the GDPD-414H handheld partial discharge detection instrument. This provided a solid guarantee for the safe operation of the power station’s electrical equipment insulation.
Given the characteristics of dispersed equipment distribution in photovoltaic power stations, strong outdoor electromagnetic interference, and concealed insulation hazards, the technicians strictly followed the standards to complete the hardware calibration of instruments, the adaptation and debugging of multiple sensors, and the initialization of the software system. They optimized the anti-interference parameters to ensure the stability and reliability of the equipment under complex working conditions. During the practical operation stage, the technicians focused on key equipment such as 35kV switch cabinets, box-type transformers, and cable terminals, demonstrating the multi-mode detection processes of TEV, ultrasonic, and HFCT, and elaborating on the data interpretation standards and fault location techniques in detail.
The training adopts the “theory + practice” mode. Technicians, based on typical cases, explain in a clear and simple manner the mechanism of partial discharge and the key points of equipment maintenance, and guide the operation personnel step by step to conduct practical operations. This ensures that the trainees can independently master the skills of detection and abnormal troubleshooting. This service demonstrates the excellent professional quality and efficient service ability of the technicians of HV HIPOT. In the future, the company will continue to deeply focus on the field of new energy power testing and provide customers with full-cycle technical support and solutions
