Recently, technicians from HV HIPOT traveled to Sichuan to assist China Huadian in completing the on-site commissioning and full-process practical training of the GDTF-840kVA/130kV frequency conversion series resonant test device for photovoltaic power stations in mountainous areas. They are fully committed to ensuring the smooth progress of the 35kV collector cable testing and subsequent operation and maintenance inspection work at the power station.
This project is located in a high-altitude mountainous area. The site is cold and humid, with a large span of photovoltaic area lines and scattered locations. The mountain transportation and test environment are extremely demanding. The series resonant device delivered this time uses a dry epoxy casting lightweight design for the reactor, which is suitable for mountain transportation scenarios. The equipment supports stable operation in a wide temperature range and the detection accuracy is not affected in low-temperature environments. It has an internal 20-300Hz automatic sweep frequency function, with an output waveform distortion rate of ≤1%, and can complete a long-distance 35kV cable AC withstand test with one click, fully covering the voltage withstand testing requirements of various types of equipment in the photovoltaic power station.
During on-site services, engineers completed equipment calibration and functional verification, and then, in line with the characteristics of mountainous operations, they conducted practical teaching. They explained and demonstrated each step, from wiring standards, parameter settings to abnormal condition troubleshooting and safety operation norms, ensuring that the maintenance personnel could quickly get started and operate independently.
