Recently, HV HIPOT Electric Co., Ltd. has reached a procurement cooperation agreement with Hunan University. The Electrical and Information Engineering College of Hunan University has selected our GDPD-HVS switch cabinet partial discharge simulation test platform to improve the experimental conditions of the high-voltage insulation laboratory, and to support the research on the mechanism of switch cabinet partial discharge and the practical teaching of power engineering.
The electrical discipline of Hunan University is highly developed, focusing on cutting-edge directions such as insulation fault diagnosis for distribution equipment and intelligent sensing technology. To meet the research needs of the laboratory, the GDPD-HVS platform can simulate various typical insulation defects such as air gap discharge, tip discharge, and suspended potential in 10kV switch cabinets; it is compatible with four mainstream partial discharge detection methods including TEV, ultrasonic, ultra-high frequency, and pulse current, and outputs stable signals with high test repeatability, making it highly suitable for partial discharge algorithm verification, sensor performance testing, and teacher-student training and teaching scenarios.
