The purpose of the cable identifier is to accurately identify one of the target cables from multiple cables and avoid serious accidents caused by wrong sawing of live cables.

Cable identification starts from the operation of both ends of the cable, it must be ensured that the double number on both ends of the cable is accurate. GD-2134A Cable Identifier is only suitable for on-site identification of de-energized cables. It is strictly forbidden to connect the cable identifier to the running power cable!

When the instrument is not used for a long time, it is recommended that the batteries be charged and maintained every other month in order to avoid battery self-discharge depletion and damage. Please turn off the transmitter during charging. After plugging in the special power adapter, the built-in battery is charged with AC220V, 50Hz power supply. The transmitter automatically controls the charging process and displays the “Charging in progress”, “Full up” and the percentage of remaining electricity in the power indicator screen.
